Chapter 117

Roman's knuckles made contact with the hard wooden door. His knuckles stung and he immediately regretted knocking on the door hard. He made to knock again but this time, softly then he heard shuffle from the office. Roman waited for a few seconds hoping the commander would open up his door. When the commander didn't, Roman knocked again. Softly so his knuckles wouldn't suffer from a hard impact on the wooden. The shuffling continued making Roman frown. The police officer had the front desk had told him the commander was seated in his office although he didn't take his calls. And the shuffling coming from the office also confirmed this. Roman decided to go back downstairs to the front desk.
