Chapter Six: Unyielding

Rose’s POV

“You wouldn’t dare,” I spat out through gritted teeth, glaring daggers at him. But in response, he chuckled and petted my hair lightly.

“We’ll see about that, brat,”

He straightened his stance and walked behind me. His words only fueled my furry but underneath that, the tiny little fear that I’d been harboring began growing. I swallowed, letting out a shaky breath while hoping he was just bluffing.

He wouldn’t take me against my will, would he? He wouldn’t do that. I told myself but my train of thought was abruptly halted when he returned to my front and loosened the rope attached to the handcuffs only to extend it more to give me leverage. Thereafter, he rounded the table to my feet and undid the cuffs holding my legs in place.
