Roman’s POV

Anxiety coursed through my bloodstream, as I stared at my reflection in the mirror.

It was finally our wedding day.

I was supposed to be the calm, and laid-back person between the both of us, but the panic clogging my throat begged to differ.

My bowtie suddenly felt too tight for my liking while my hands felt cold yet clammy at the same time.

Heaving a deep sigh to calm my tense nerves, I glanced down at the time, before sipping cold air through my teeth.

We were currently in one of my bequeathed mansions in California.

The wedding was going to take place at a garden nearby, which was dedicated to my parents' memory.

It had also been a day since I last saw Sofie, and three hours since I last saw Ethan.

Nana had mentioned something about it being bad luck if I saw my fiancée on the night before our wedding.
