The Cause

Alexander’s POV

I nodded at Kay, “Yes, I will.” I will do whatever she wants just to get her forgiveness, I will do anything she asks of me because that was the only way I could also be fine with myself, I would make it up to her in whatever way she wants.

“Then, you have to go and apologize to my father.” Kay said and sniffled.

My heart leaped into my throat, I stood still and stared at her, I didn’t know how to do that, I didn’t know how I was supposed to face her dad after what I have done to him and to his entire family. What would I say when I get there? How would I explain myself? What would I tell him was the reason I treated him and his family that way? What would I say to him?

I just didn’t know what to do or say to him, he was the last person I would want to face, my guilty conscience wouldn’t let me, and I was also scared about what the outcome might be. What if he doesn’t listen to me? What if he pushes me off after telling him and trying to beg fo
