Doll remembered Hades’s strong paws and his frantic voice. It happened so fast, so very fast.
When the minivan stopped its descent, the no-fur couldn't move very much, feeling heavy weight all around him. He must have hit his head pretty hard because everything sounded far away and he was having trouble forming any kind of thought.
It was only because Hades pulled him out of the crumpled minivan that he got out at all. He had no idea what Hades was telling him as he felt his body travelling away from the car. Oh wait, that was Hades right? He wasn't dying and moving out of his body. No, if he was dying it was supposed to be more of a floating feeling. This hurt way too much to be that.
Doing a quick assessment, Doll was pretty sure he was cut in several places and might have broken bones. Considering what the tossing and crashing felt like, it could have been far worse.
