Once they were done, Rosabella finally served dinner which was Mac and Cheese. They decided to eat in the kitchen and once they were done Rosabella finally let Olive put her hand in the cookie bowl, letting her take it to the living room for some post dinner entertainment.

As Olive took the bowl to the living room, Rosabella poured the both of them a glass of soda and while she was alone, she did something extremely strange. She took out a vial from her pocket and pored it's contents into the glass meant for Olive. The red liquid fizzled and glowed ominously before fading and integrating with the transparent liquid.

The smirk on her face was ever so discomforting. As she heard Olive's footsteps, she wiped the smile of her face and grabbed both glasses. The minute she turned around and took a step, Olive came into the kitchen a smile on her face. Rosabella handed her the glass with the liquid mixed in. "Here you go, have you set up the movie?" She questioned in order to distract Olive from noticing anything weird.

There was no need for her alertness because Olive didn't even think before taking a sip from the glass. Rosabella quietly let out a relived sigh, "Of course she wouldn't suspect me. I'm her mother" she thought in the safety of her mind as they moved from the kitchen to the living room.

" Yes I have, the opening credits are almost finished" Olive informed as they walked and truly when they got there the opening credits of the movie had ended. Mother and daughter took a seat and prepared themselves to spend the next two hours immersed in the movie.

After a while, Olive began to doze off and so her mom set her off to bed so eagerly that if Olive was more aware she might have noticed it but as she was currently fighting the frenemy that is sleep it completely went over her head.

Once she was done settling Olive in bed, Rosabella returned to the living room to clear up their mess and switch off the TV. As she finished clearing up like any mother would so she checked the doors and windows to be sure they were locked before switching off the lights and retiring to bed, a pleased smile on her lips while she did all this.

At midnight, Olive began to dream again. This time she woke up in a field of white lilies wearing a white dress. She looked around and all she could see for miles where lilies all white in color. She had never felt so at peace. This peaceful feeling was however ruined by a dark fog that suddenly appeared in the distance and began to sweep over the flowers. Every flower that was touched by the fog would wither and regrow as a black dahlia. The fog kept growing closer and more flowers kept withering and regrowing.

As the flowers kept changing her originally white dress was becoming black as well. The change started from from the hem of the gown and was now slowly creeping its way up. She didn't know why but the sight of her slowly changing gown put a feeling of panic in her heart.

The fog kept drawing closer and even though she wanted to run, she was frozen in place and unable to move anything but her head. She looked to the side and her gaze fell on a white lily. It was different from the rest in the sense that it was in a glass jar and the jar was on a table. She hadn't noticed it before but the sight however, reminded her of the cursed rose from the Beauty and the Beast cartoons she had watched as a child.

As she looked at the lily, it began to glow and the strange feeling of being unable to move ended and she was finally able to turn her entire body to face the lily in a jar. She moved towards the jarred lily, the closer she got the more an urgent feeling to take the jar and run away appeared in her heart. So she ran toward the table, grabbed the jar and began to run.

Her taking the jar irritated the fog and so it began to spread faster, withering and corrupting more and more flowers. As she ran she looked back and saw that the fog was much closer than it was before and the black on her dress was now past her knee. The closer the fog grew, the faster the black on her dress spread.

After running for a while, the white on her dress was completely gone and the fog had now assumed a humanoid shape but she still hadn't reached the end of the field. The only surviving lily was there one she was carrying and all around her was a sea of black. She was getting tired, her lungs were burning and her legs were aching. However, she didn't stop running, she couldn't afford to stop.

Her running came to a sudden halt because in front of her was a wall of fog. She felt it the moment her pursuer caught up with her, but the minute she turned to look at who or whatever it was, overwhelming black covered her vision and she jolted awake in the real world.

Her mom who was by her side and had been shaking her and calling out her name, suddenly stopped. "Olive..." she called out tentatively.

Olive couldn't hold it tin anymore and burst into tears, shocking her mother, who quickly moved and pulled her into a hug. "It's okay, it was just a bad dream. It's alright" she comforted in a soft voice.

Rosabella continued to whisper words of comfort to Olive for an hour. She only stopped when Olive stopped crying." Do you want to talk about it? "She asked hoping to know what she had seen that made her so startled that she could breakdown and cry this much.

Olive however gave an answer in the negative and for a moment while Olive was not looking, a dark look rested on Rosabella's face before it was quickly wiped away and she reapplied the mask of a caring mother.

"It's okay, do you want some water?" she asked moving to her bedside table and pouring her a glass of water.

Olive felt guilty and apologetic for waking her mother up and worrying her, she couldn't believe she went to sleep without applying the silence rune. She was also afraid that her mom would notice the presence of the silence rune and would know that she had been hiding the truth from her. "I'm sorry for waking you up" her voice was full of the guilt of burdening her mom.

" Olive Andromeda Lane, don't you dare" she startled at the sharp tone in her mother's voice. She looked down as her mother handed her a glass with one command. " Drink" and as her mom sat down, Olive mentally prepared herself for her mother's lecture.

"Ow!" Olive let out a yelp almost crushing Chelsea's fingers from where she was holding it. The smell of her pain punched Chelsea in the gut. It was sour. More sour than the grapes she had last week as part of her dare. Chelsea could only squeeze back, hoping the gesture was enough to comfort her friend. After a while, her scent shifted from sour to stale telling Chelsea that she was no longer in a lot of pain but was still uncomfortable. "Hey Olly?" She tentatively called out. "Yeah Chelsea?" Was the response. "Do you think you'll be okay if I go grab us something from the cafeteria?" "Yeah. Sure." And with a smile Chelsea was sent off leaving Olive alone with nurse Winn. Ten minutes later, Chelsea still wasn't back from the cafeteria and Olive was progressively getting sleepier which was odd as she could never fall asleep in any sort of medical space because of her psy experience. Trying to fight the sands of Morpheus and failing woefully, Olive

To her, Skye looked shy, if not a bit wary of them, and she wanted to change that.As they moved down the line, it was finally her turn, and as she grabbed her tray and began to move towards their table, the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to her since kindergarten happened. She tripped. She tripped and landed face-first on the floor, with her body squashing the food tray. The hall was quiet, as though its residents were trying to process the sight in front of them. At once, like a flipped switch, loud laughter flooded the room.Embarrassment like never before ran through Olive as Chelsea, who was already sitting, ran to help her up. Ashton had gone to the bathroom, and Olive was thankful he wasn't there to witness it."Are you okay?" Jessie asked as she rushed to Olive's side as well. Jessie woke up Monday morning and for some reason, she felt off and her magic wasn't afraid to show it. It started with how she almost tripped because of a pillow that appeared out of nowhere on her way to the bathroom, then her magic setting the water too high and almost burning her skin off, then nicking herself with a knife with her magic bending the knife in her anger and finally, checking her bag before realizing her homework was on her reading table in homeroom.Banging her head on the desk, she attracted the stares of everyone and worried looks from her friends."Hey, what's wrong?" Olive asked softly in order to not be caught by the teacher. Jessie raised her head revealing her eyes that had gone red from frustration."Today has been the absolute worst. It's been one horrible moment to the other." Jessie whined. "I just have this feeling that something is going to go wrong today and it keeps making my magic go nuts."As she spoke, her desk promptly exploded into a shower of fl

Monday,At the ring of the bell signalling the end of the school day, students couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. Jessie who had sat down in front of Olive looked up from her bag at Chelsea who was slumped over her desk and then at Ashton and Olive who were being all lovey-dovey. She grasped the concert tickets and summoned her courage."Hey, guys?" Her questioning tone bringing the other's attention to her. "You know the Enchantia Concert coming up this Friday... " She wasn't expecting Olive to let out a squeak. "Oh, my sweet candy fluff unicorns! I have been so distracted lately that I forgot their concert was this Friday." Her voice quickly morphed into horror. "I don't have tickets, I'm a terrible Chantia" she groaned slumping over her desk."Umm... I may have a solution to your problem." Jessie said and brought out the tickets from her bag.Olive looked up and lunged at Jessie pulling her into a dramatic hug. "You. Are. My. Saviour." she punctuated each word with a sque

And just like that the week came to an end. Jessie had somehow managed to carve out a space for herself in their little gang earning her envious eyes everywhere she turned. She could now proudly call Olive and Chelsea her friends without feeling awkward. They had made her feel so welcome it was like they had grown up together. They had scheduled a group outing at the arcade wanting the group to be complete and have a fun time celebrating the upcoming weekend. They had played all sorts of games before finally agreeing to play a game of laser tag.
