Chapter 33 | Dad
Lux
Every time I go to a place that I’ve been to before, but it’s the first time for me to actually see it, it feels weird. Like I know the place, but not really.
As we pull up to it though, I understand why Silas was drawn to this place. It’s beautiful and quiet and smaller than the Royal Pack and just has a comforting aura.
Silas holds my hand and I know he’s trying to silently reassure me. I’m nervous about seeing my dad. I am angry at him for leaving Kai the way that he did, but I’m also excited to see him. It’s the first time I’ll really be able to see him and I can’t help but look forward to that.
As we pull up to the pack house, I notice it’s much smaller than the castle that the Royal Pack has, but it’s still a decent size.
There are 7 people waiting at the front of the pack house and Silas parks and looks at me and asks, “Are you ready, Lux?”

LuxI’m sitting near my favorite spot by the waterfall. The grass feels softer over here. I love the smell of the fresh water and the sounds all around me. From the water falling, to the birds tweeting, and occasionally hearing the families in our pack going for a stroll. They always greet me with a happy, “Hello princess!”I don’t know if they do it to be polite or to make sure I’m aware of their presence since I can’t see them.
