HAVE THEY KILLED EACH OTHER YET?!

Four hours later, I stood in front of Ray's door with a bag in my hand. I didn't carry much but I packed carefully. "Can you please show us to our rooms?" I asked carefully.

"There's one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. Alain, take the one downstairs. Emmy come up with me." Ray said, nodding.

I glanced at him through the corner of my eyes, feeling oddly shy and wondering why. I tried very hard not to smile at the hideous thought in my mind.

"Hold it. I don't like the idea of the both of you upstairs together." Alain said.

"Really, you don't?" Ray asked sarcastically. "Well I don't like the idea of the fact that you think that I care about what you think."

"Well like it or not, " Alain said, "I'm in charge."

"Nobody asked you to take charge. No one. This is my house and my rules." Ray retorted.
