It was still uncertain when Martha would wake up.

Celeste waited at the hospital with the others for over an hour.

Seeing that Martha still hadn't woken up, Queenie said calmly, "You should go back first. I'll let you know when she wakes up or if there's any update."

Celeste looked at Martha lying on the hospital bed, wearing a ventilator. After checking the time on her phone, she replied, "It's still early. I'd like to wait a little longer."

Celeste waited until around 11:00 pm. When the doctor said Martha's condition had stabilized a bit but that she wouldn't wake up anytime soon, she finally left to get some rest.

The crowd tends to treat a person the same way the person closest to them does. If show up & treat my husband like he’s stupid all the time eventually so will the others. So the kids been surrounded by people that barely acknowledge Cel but praise Wynn. Kids get caught up in that too.

I think she has just realized that she misses her mom. Wynn has been fun where mom was more “mommish”. Wynn and Trevor were pretty much surrounded by friends as well & little kids want to be in the middle of that fun. Also, Trevor treats Celeste a little differently now & as crappy as it is,

I’ve threatened to cancel for a couple weeks now & I really am over it. I give it this week & if it doesn’t pick up, I’m out of the app entirely. I won’t begin another “book” that’s for sure. I misunderstood & thought the cost was per month not week.
