That morning, I found myself standing in front of his door again.

I told myself it was purely practical. His arm was still injured. Anyone would struggle doing things one-handed.

At least, that’s what I kept repeating in my head.

Still… I hesitated before knocking.

He had never been particularly kind to me.

And yet... here I was, helping him anyway.

After a few seconds, I finally knocked.
