Ease dropping

Ivery's POV.

I stood up, my anger rising to the surface. I had a first-class degree in business administration, and I wasn't about to let my voice be silenced. I cleared my throat and spoke up, my words ringing out with authority.

"Hold on, a minute!” I interjected, my voice trembling with emotion. “I know you all have put a lot of time and effort into these plans, but there's something we're not considering. Have you considered the environmental impact of this project? I'm concerned that the construction will hurt the surrounding area, and I think we need to address that.”

As I spoke, the room fell silent. The bright fluorescent lights overhead cast a harsh glare on my face, and I could feel everyone's eyes on me. My cheeks flushed with heat, and I could feel my heart racing in my chest.
