When the waiter set the try down and turned around to leave, I slowly withdrew my hand away from my gun with my eyes still on him.

But just as I relaxed, I saw him reach into his coat, and immediately I jumped to my feet and grabbed him by the waist, pushing him towards the wall, away from Atlas.
