I spent the entire day focused on the documents Caden had given me to review. I barely noticed the time, and if I hadn’t started feeling hungry, I wouldn’t have ordered any food.

I stood up and entered Caden’s office to remind him about his next meeting. When I walked in, I saw him completely focused on his laptop.

“Sir,” I said, getting his attention.

“You have a meeting in 10 minutes in the conference room with Valencia Enterprises,” I said.

“Got it.”

I placed a folder on his desk.
