Secret

Shawn only let out a bitter smile before speaking. "Well, if that's the case then I'm sorry if you ever missed knowing more about me. Have you forgotten the years we've spent together?" he said that made her dumbfounded. "And unlike you, I still remember most things about you… even your secret that you don't want others to know, especially your father." 

The way the man showed a mischievous smile flashing through his lips sent her a shiver down her spine. 

She couldn't help but overthink to herself about what he might have found out about her. 

Is he talking about her daughter? She had been doing her best to keep her away and yet…

Even before she could regain her thoughts, the man finally turned away from her. 

She stared long and hard at his disappearing stature when he suddenly turned around.

"I'
