Isabella's pov;

"How was your day yesterday?" Sophia inquired about me, as though she was curious about what transpired the night before.

"I refused him," I said as I moved the benches to one side of the classroom.

When I looked at her countenance, it appeared that she was no longer interested. I sighed and continued moving the benches.

"Who turned down who?" Evelyn inquired as she returned from rearranging tables with Liam.

"Sophia introduced a guy to me last night, and I rejected him as usual," I replied.

Liam, "Why did you do it, Sophia? You're aware that I like Bella, right? What made you betray me? You should have assisted me instead of some random man you know if you wanted Bella to have a boyfriend. Aren't you my pal?"

"Stop arguing with her and go clear the papers over there," I said to Liam.

"What's the point of yelling at me?"

"Would you please clear those papers for me, please?"

"Oh, darling?" He blew a kiss over to me and walked away.
