Chapter - 50

AFTER TWO YEARS,

Isabella's pov;

An open diner in the North Charleston neighbourhood of South Carolina. The drive-through is open 24 hours a day, while the diner closes at 10 p.m. for walk-in customers.

"Here! Who's attending this table?"

A call came in from table number six. A family of a father, mother, and two sons sat at the table.

"What is your order, Sir?" I asked, a smile on my face.

"I'd like three sausage burritos with a side salad, one double cheeseburger, and don't top it with tangy pickles, my son doesn't like it," he said, pointing to the menu.

"Yes, Sir."

He continued, "One buttermilk crispy chicken and one fish fillet, one hot fudge sundae, one baked apple pie, one hot caramel sundae, and coke for three."

"Your order will be ready in a few minutes, Sir." I smiled and walked away from the table.

I approached the counter, gave the guy the list of dishes i got and then waited for it to arrive from the kitchen.
