Kenji kissed the top of her head. “I’ll take you home after breakfast but you have to come down. Besides, I bet he’s hoping you give him a grandson.”

She stiffened at his words. “We just started dating. I swear parents are so ready for the next big step. It’s only been like a day.”

“That may be the case but they want us to work out. Sometimes parents know what’s good for their children even if we don’t realize it yet.”
