The police refused to listen to Kenji, they continued to shout orders at Kieran. Begrudgingly, he complied with their orders. Emma Jean woke up in the hospital, her head was bandaged. She blinked several times before her eyes focused on the bright lights of the room. There was a warmth radiating from her arm.
