Emma Jean stood there with her hands covering her mouth. Tears we’re streaming down her eyes. She was in shock, words failed her at that moment. She could only nod her head yes. “You will?” She finally found her voice. “Yes! Don’t be ridiculous.” Kenji picked her up, spinning her around. “You have no idea how happy that makes me.” He peppered her face in kisses. “Come with me.” He put her down on the porch. Rummaging through his pants pocket he pulled out the keys to the house. He headed straight to unlock the door. When he looked at her, she was confused. Emma Jean looked in the rearview mirror to see his head disappeared. She got concerned and was about to get out of the car when he stood back up. She placed her hand to her chest and breathed.
