Natasha

“I'm not sure. Is there something you want?” Bruce asked regarding food.

When I move closer to him, he turned away and I don't know the reason. I walked even closer regardless and took the menu from him.

“French food for dinner…” I muttered.

“We can still do American food. The hotel is owned by my company so I'm sure there are dinners for people like us,” Bruce suggested.

“No, I didn't come all the way to Paris to eat the same thing I have been eating!”

I rejected his offer.

“We should have it the French way tonight. How about the first course? It sounds interesting.”

“It will be delicious,” Bruce accepted.

I watched as he called it in and only then do I begin to walk around, admiring the artwork in the room. Bruce sat down at the bar, toying with his glass of whiskey.

By ‘toying’, I meant he didn't drink from it, he only held it for a long time. I walked up to him calmly and asked,

“Do you need a drinking buddy?”

“No,” he smiled as he dropped the glass.

BruceThe guy was very tall and muscular and he could pass for a bouncer or bodyguard.I could see his friends, some distance away from him and a bottle of whiskey in his right hand. It worried me greatly that he held the bottle like it was a weapon.“Fuck off!” He told me threateningly. Due to the loud music, Natasha didn't hear that. She was still dancing in a carefree manner.“I'd tell you the same,” I replied coldly. A smile appeared on his face.“My boss wants her,” he said and pointed to the group of people I thought were his friends.“He always gets what he wants and tonight won't be different. You should step away and hunt other chicks. This one is my boss's.”I found myself laughing. “What are you, pal?” I asked. “A bodyguard? An errand boy?”“You don't want to infuriate me, boy. I will crush you and no one will blink an eye,” he threatened.Natasha looked back and saw our altercation. She held my arm and leaned on my shoulder and with the sweetest voice, she asked, “Is there

Bruce“You should go first…” both of us said together. I sighed and Natasha looked away nervously.“I overreacted earlier,” Natasha began. “I blamed you for everything even though you didn't cause it. It all happened without your approval and I knew but still I… I blamed you.”“It's fine,” I muttered. “I also said some words I shouldn't have uttered. I know they must have hurt you so bad.”“Those words did,” Natasha affirmed. “You were very harsh, Bruce.”“Then I will make an amazing dinner and apologize for that,” I told her, smiling.Natasha smiled back at me and for a moment there, I felt butterflies in my tummy. It was strange, as if we were a real couple.Natasha joined me in the kitchen and watched me as I cooked. She didn't lift her hand there and she shuffled between staring at me, tasting the food in every process, and asking when it would be ready.I made my signature dish, Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. Natasha enjoyed the aroma before she tasted it.She opened her eyes wi

BruceI took the car key and got into the car with Natasha. I drove off instantly with no exact destination in mind. I wasn't myself at all.As I drove, I could notice Natasha's eyes on me. Whenever I turned to look at her, she would take her eyes off me.Keeping a hand on the steering, I called Kelvin again.“Reporters just invaded the hotel I am staying in. How did the information spill?” I asked quickly.“It must have been from someone in the hotel. Where are you now?” Kelvin asked.“I am driving right now with no destination in mind. I don't think it's wise to go to another hotel right now. Don't I have any private property in Paris?” I asked carefully.Kelvin knew more about the properties that I owned than myself.“You own a villa in Paris,” Kelvin replied.“I will check and send you the exact address.”“Good. I hope it is still well secured?” I asked.“All your villas are well secured,” Kelvin answered. “Moreover, your grandmother used it two months ago during her trip to Paris

NatashaI woke up the next morning with a hangover. As I sat up, I stretched and yawned before I opened my eyes to see Bruce who was staring at me with deadly eyes.I was taken aback at once and it took me time to calm myself.“Is something wrong?” I asked out of concern.“I ordered some soup just in case you might suffer from a hangover,” Bruce said sweetly which contrasted the gaze he had earlier.I stood up and walked towards him.“Thanks for the soup. I really needed it,” I said as I walked to the table where he placed it.“And that's the problem!” Bruce exclaimed.“You shouldn't be needing hangover soup in the first place.” I turned back soberly,“I'm sorry. I shouldn't have drank that much.”“No, you didn't drink much,” Bruce replied with a smile. Now I couldn't even tell if he was angry or happy.“I didn't cause any trouble, did I?” I asked carefully.“No, you didn't,” Bruce replied sweetly. “Ah, except from going from table to table to drink their beers directly from their bot

Bruce“Look at this face…” I pointed to myself. “Is there really something better in this world? Be honest with yourself.”Natasha stared at me and studied my face calmly. I was sure she would give a favorable response.“It doesn't look that special to me,” she muttered. “Moreover, we are here for a movie. We should focus on that. Our chatter might be disturbing others.”“But there is nobody on our row,” I argued. Natasha checked for herself now.We were about ten in the spacious cinema so we gave ourselves a lot of space. There was no way anyone else would hear our chatter.“I still want to watch the movie,” Natasha turned to the screen.“Go ahead. I will take a nap. I'm not used to such perverted stuff, you know,” I teased her.I closed my eyes before I would see Natasha's glare.** About an hour later, the movie ended. Natasha and I didn't have any plans in particular but the day was still young and it would be a waste to spend the rest of it cooped up in our hotel room.“Should we

NatashaBruce and I walked on the streets of Paris side by side. I could tell he was walking slowly intentionally so he could match my slow footsteps.Bruce has always been a gentleman, I knew that very well.“Should we take a break?” I asked as I pointed at a café.“No,” Bruce replied blandly. I was originally in a good mood but thanks to Bruce's rejection, I had regained my senses.I began to walk faster now, eager to get this over with. Bruce didn't have trouble matching my pace.“Listen carefully…” he said. I turned to him and he muttered,“Face your front and don't turn back. Just keep walking as you have been so far.” I wondered what had just happened.Anyway, I did as he wanted.“What is it?” I asked as I walked.“Someone has been on our trail for a while,” Bruce told me calmly.“Don't turn your head to see.”“I won't,” I replied nervously. “Do you know who sent the person?”“I don't,” Bruce muttered. “It could be my grandmother… if she is the one, the person is just here to ta
