"Is the witch...I mean, my fiancée left already?" he learned to be careful with his words when there are people around them. It would be weird to call your fiancée a witch, it will ignite someone's curiosity over their relationship. It's better to be safe.
"She is still sleeping. Madam asked me to wake her up too."
