That same night, Jeremy Logan was watching the news in his living room when he received an unexpected visitor. Without beating about the bush, Angelina dropped the cheque she came with on the coffee table in front of him.

"What's this?"

"It's my entire paycheck, including all the generous bonuses Mr. Gallagher gave me. It's more than enough to cover all the expenses incurred in getting both Alicia and I to London, the rent you paid for our apartment, clothes you bought for me, gas, everything!
