Gone

Gabriel was startled as he found out that Evina wasn't beside her. His hand reached out to her as his consciousness was awakened. But to his surprise, he could only feel the cold bed at his side.

He checked out his clock and see that it was already early morning. He didn’t realize that it took them that long, since he just went home after lunch. He has some files that he forgot. But he completely loses track of his tasks seeing Evina in the flesh, at his bed.

“Perhaps she has gone home. I should have driven for her,” He stretched his back as he reached out for his phone and dialed her. To his surprise, he wasn’t answering the phone.
