Chapter 42 I Just Smiling Is Enough

Nicko Andreson approached Sean who was leaning against the wall near the hospital garden. Both of them stared at the lamp illuminating the streets around the courtyard. The two men were silent for a long time and watched the passers-by. Until in the end, Nicko took out a cigarette and offered it to Sean which he flatly refused.

Nicko shrugged and threw the cigarette on the ground. Neither of them smoked, Nicko was just making small gesture. He got the nicotine stick from one of the subordinates he brought with him. At first, Nicko thought it would lighten the mood.

After a long silence, Nicko said, “Take Via from here.”  He put his hands in his pockets because the cold air was starting to bite his skin. “I have a villa on a private island. Stay there for the time being. I’ve provided all the facilities Via needs, including a medical team that’s available twenty-four hours.”
