57. Blood Ties
Ansel was momentarily confused about Michael's desire to help him, but he didn't want to waste his time thinking about it. He looked at Elisa and proceeded to walk toward them, but someone grabbed him from behind before he could move forward.
Oh, for fucks sake, give me a break! Ansel thought and tried to fight off the person who had his arms around his neck, choking him.
Malachi managed to turn around and punch Michael off him, then kicked Michael on his ribs. "You just destroyed the good business relationship we had going, and for some puny little girl? Why? What's so special about her, hmm? Are you fucking his mother or what?" he barked.
"That's my daughter, you asshole! You can't take her," Michael snarled. He was holding his sides like he was in pain, but he tried to stay standing up anyway.
Ansel's eyes turned wide. What the hell is he saying? Audre was Gerald's daughter, wasn't she?

"Breathe, Ansel, just breathe. Here, take a swig of this," Connor handed Ansel a small flask. "Unless it's liquid Xanax, I don't know how it would help," Ansel said irritably. "It's whiskey. Three months have passed since their wedding. Ansel took Elisa to the gynecologist, and they found the gender of their twins. They were going to have two girls. "How did you know?" Ansel asked her on the way home. "Know what?" she looked at him with confusion. "How did you know you were pregnant with girls? You gave me girls' names when you announced your pregnancy back then," Ansel asked. "I had no idea. I made those names up to shock you. They were girl names by pure coincidence," Elisa giggled. "Well, your wish came true. So now I have to deal with three hormonal teenage girls in my house. God help me," Ansel let out an exaggerated sigh. Elisa wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on the cheek. "Oh, stop being grumpy. It'll be great," she said. Ansel smiled. "I know." Things were great since they passed their dark times. With both Mike and Gerald being gone, there were no more threats left in their lives.

He was tall, about six feet three or more, with a tan and muscular body. He had a messy blonde fade haircut that perfectly framed his face with high cheekbones and a prominent jaw.
