Torment her

The next morning.

Kaylar woke up to an empty bed.

She leaned her body against the headboard as she felt a sudden dryness in her throat and a slight headache.

"How did I get drunk?" Kaylar's voice came out hoarsely as she lightly massaged her temple.

She turned her head to the side and there was no water there, so she decided to get water from the kitchen downstairs.

She stood up from the bed, put her slippers on and exited the room in slow steps.

Downstairs.

Kaylar exited the kitchen with a bottle of water in her hand.

She stood at the doorway and gulped down some water.

Her expression looked better than it did a few minutes ago.

The dryness in her throat had subsidised.

She climbed up the stairs steadily.

In the process of going up the stairs, Kaylar noticed an opened door on the second floor.

Out of curiosity, she decided to check it out.

She hardly roams around the house that's why she dedicated her free time to touring the mansion.

Kaylar reached the room and froze at the door
