Chapter 11

I went back to my office to continue the search for the file which I later found in another file on my table.

"How come?" I thought 

I took it out, matched to his office and dropped it with an I don't care attitude

"What is that?" He asked

"The file" I answered and went back to my office without looking back even though I could feel his eyes on me with every step I was taking

Later in the day, Cynthia sent a text to me and I was about to reply when a very tall and beautiful young lady came into my office

"Good afternoon, how can I help you?" I asked with my professional smile plattered to my face

The woman gave me an irritated look and said just one word which broke my heart

"Dixie"

'So she is Dixie. I was hoping she wouldn't come'
