Rays of sunlight trickle into my room and I stir, waking up. This night is the blood moon and we have a lot of preparations going on. Even if today is a Tuesday, Alpha Gavin has declared it a public holiday for the pack so we all can have time to prepare for whatever celebrations we have in mind.

“Wake up! We have to make snacks for the celebration tonight,” Annette says eagerly as she bursts into my room.
