When my online boyfriend insisted on receiving a picture of me, the class belle, Callista Xavery, snatched my phone from my hand. She said, “You’re a real wrecking ball. He’ll run for the hills the second he sees you. Just send a photo of me instead. That way you won’t scare him off.” My other classmates also mocked me, saying, “You’re out here dripping grease and still trying to online date? That’s straight-up catfishing.” I pinched the thickness around my fat and hesitated about whether I should really send a photo of Callista or not. Just then, a barrage of floating words flashed before my eyes. [That fat girl’s online boyfriend is a top-tier Claremont trust-fund heir who loves flexing by throwing cash around.] [That pretty heroine’s already aware of that. That’s why she’s trying to make that fat girl send a photo of her.] [That way, she can smoothly take the fat girl’s place at the meetup, get spoiled rotten by the rich boy from then on, and start cashing six-figure transfers on the regular.] I was stunned for a moment before quickly snatching my phone back. I then dug out a photo of myself from three years ago and said, “No need. After all, once I lose this weight, I’ll be much prettier than you.”

The Class Belle Said I’m Too Fat Chapter 10
[She literally posted her whole weight loss journey for everyone to see. What’s your excuse now, Callista?][You’re just bitter that Amy landed a rich boyfriend, so you tried to drag her down. What a bad woman.][Amy is genuinely gorgeous inside and out. She got fit herself, and she still takes the time to help everyone else the right way.]I could not help but notice how fake people were. After that, every time I walked into class, everyone rushed to sit next to me. Some people even got into arguments over who got to sit closest to me.When I walked on campus, people would constantly try to ask for my number or shove drinks and snacks into my hands. When I went to the cafeteria, someone would pay for my meal.Even when the library was completely packed, someone would always offer me their seat.Still, I stayed true to who I was and faced everything with calmness.I studied when I needed to study and went on dates when it was time to date. The friends I kept close were still

Callista was fuming. She posted all kinds of malicious speculations about me on the forum.[There’s no way a person can lose so much weight naturally within three months.][My guess is she either got gastric surgery or took some illegal weight-loss drugs. No way she dropped that much just from working out.][Amy is literally wrecking her body just to get a rich boyfriend. That kind of approach is seriously messed up.][She should be called out for it. What if other girls start copying her and doing the same dangerous things?]For a while, everyone eagerly chimed in with their own opinions.[Do you actually have proof she used shortcuts? She looks healthy to me. She clearly lost it through exercise.][If a person is not pretty to begin with, getting skinny won’t fix that. This just proves Amy was always a natural beauty. Maybe she was just fat for fun.][Callista, aren’t you just bitter about no longer being the center of attention?]Some also sided with Callista.[Now everyo

I thought they would argue first. Instead, they looked at each other, then put on fawning expressions and voluntarily offered to transfer money to me.“Amy, I was a total jerk before, I admit it. Here’s a thousand dollars as my apology.”“Please don’t hold it against me...”One of them even slapped himself twice in front of me and eagerly handed me a drink.“I don’t even remember what I said back then. Anyway, take this two thousand dollars as my way of making it up to you. I was completely blind. I never thought you’d turn out this gorgeous after losing weight.”“From now on, anything you need, just tell me. I’ll come running.”After they happily sent the money, they stuck around me like eager little followers.Seeing everyone crowd around me, Callista turned green with envy.“Can you all have some self-respect? It’s not like she’s the first pretty girl you’ve ever seen!“For all we know, Amy had some surgery done or something. She could bounce right back to being fat tomor

Callista acted as if she had just discovered my biggest weakness, and she laughed at me with total smugness.“See? I told you I wasn’t lying!“The only liar here from start to finish is Amy.”She was still acting all high and mighty. She used to look down on me with pure disgust, but at the moment, she just looked jealous and bitter.“Amy, don’t act like losing weight and getting pretty erases your past.“Those two-hundred-pound photos are your permanent baggage. You’re never going to live it down.”I did my best to ignore her outburst, then leaned in close to Austin and confessed in a soft, sincere voice.“If you remember, I told you that my parents passed away three years ago. I fell into a deep depression.“That’s when I gained all the weight. Back then, food was the only thing that made me feel even a little bit better.“On top of that, I was stressed about the SATs. I ate nonstop. The next thing I knew, I was two hundred pounds, hormones a wreck, and breaking out everyw
