Until now, Laura still can't shake off what Draco said to her.

"You know what, you're fucking useless," she remembered him saying.

His words are affecting her peace of mind. She couldn't sleep last night because his words kept replaying in her mind. She shouldn't be affected by what he said, knowing it was just fueled by anger. But she couldn't help but get affected.

Why?

Because two different people told her that. She can't help but wonder if she's truly of no use. Those words were like a knife that pierced her heart, because she felt the pain.
