After their meeting with the supernatural council members they excused themselves to go to the office to get some of their work done. Tamara and Arcus assured them that they would handle the arrangements for the crowning after their mating ceremony so they didn’t have to worry about that.
They hadn’t been in the office long when Jessica showed up with the new candidate she insisted would be able to replace her as assistant when she and Malcolm would take over his childhood pack. Turns out it was Emily, who had agreed to do online classes at night while she assisted Gemma during the day.
