Chapter 28: Rain

Agatha’s tears dripped down her cheeks. Again, no one will believe her. Everyone will continue to judge her. Hate her. Accusing her. No one will take one moment to see if she’s telling the truth or not. Just hearing the word curse is enough to make a person look away from her. She wrapped her arms around her legs and curled into a ball. She cried softly in the dripping rain.

"Your majesty," said Grump.

"What?" asked Austin. His pen was still moving on his paper.

"Um…”

"What?”

“Well…” Grump wasn’t sure how to tell Austin about Agatha’s situation.

Austin was annoyed with Grump’s hesitation and asked, “What is it that you keep on hesitating about?"

"It's just that Princess Agatha…"

"What about her?"

"Well, she's still out there."

"So?"

"Well, it's raining."

"What?" asked Austin, looking at Grump.

BOOM! The lightning strike.

"She’s still where you left her.”

“And?”

“It’s been raining for quite a while now.”

“And?”

“Well, I’m just saying that Princess Agatha is probably drenched
