Victor POV 

"This is the tree. The claw's mark is on the trunk. Where's the root?" 

It was midnight when Zenith and I searched for that portal my mother destroyed a long time ago. Our sharp wolf eyes ransacked the area. Zenith used her strong sense to locate that root where the chosen maiden was tripped over.
