Luck shone on me when I heard that Alpha Xyren was in search of me and demanded my presence. It has been a very long time he ever set his eyes on me and that was because it was reported that he was busy.

He was busy with work that was why he never saw me and I never went ahead in search of his presence even when I craved it.

For some weird reason, I craved his touch. I missed it. I wanted him to look at me and whisper those naughty words in my ears.

" What are you waiting for?" She smiled.

It was that maid that smiled at me the last time I saw her, it was when I was eating in the dining room.

" What's your name?" I asked her.

" Ava, I'm ava" she said.

She had caused me a lot of discomfort and I was confused on whose side she was on.

I could not tell and I could not ask as well, or maybe I should just ask.

" You are one of Cara's personal maids, right?" I asked her, unsure of what she was going to say.

" No, I'm not. I work in the kitchen area" she still held her smile.

I did not want to believe her immediately.

" Okay then" I shrugged my shoulders.

" You do not want to keep him waiting," she said.

I stood up and we both left the room.

I got into Alpha Xyren's room and met his absence, he was in the shower.

" Should I wait?" I asked.

" Almost done" I heard his voice.

I wondered why he had asked me to come at the time of taking his shower.

I sat on the bed, waiting for him to be out of the shower.

The sound of the water stopped, maybe he was done with what he was doing.

He walked out of the bathroom with water dripping off his body.

I could see his chest fully, he had a towel tied around his waist and he looked so hot.

" You should stop staring at me like that," he said.

I swallowed, he was right, I kept looking at him like I was going to eat him up so well.

He walked into the open closet and closed the door.

" You have to continue waiting," I heard him say.

I smiled, I was going to wait, I never had any intention of leaving. I was going to be here, waiting for when he would come to me.

He walked out of the closet, fully dressed.

" You look good" I dropped a compliment, I could not help it.

"Thank you" he winked at me.

I felt a rush of pleasure and excitement run through me.

What are you doing?" He asked me.

" Sitting here, waiting for you" I said.

He smiled more and came to where I was.

" You know that you and I have not spent so much time together and there are things that I want you to wear and have as well," he said.

I blinked my eyes, unsure of what he was talking about.

" What is that?" I asked him.

" I want you to look so good for me, just for me, and I also want you to appear decent as well, I do not like the way you are looking, that is why I want to take your shopping" he said.

I smiled, it's been a long time since I did that. Enzo never cared about that, he never cared if lacked what to wear or not, he never bothered.

" Are you serious about that? I know my clothes are old and worn out, not befitting of a Luna" I bent my.head down, pained that I get to be a poor looking and wretched Luna.

" I saw that and I did not like it. I wonder what kind of an Alpha you were with, he never treated you well and I am shocked you never gave up, I would have ran away" he said.

It made me chuckle.

" It's not so easy. I had nowhere to go and that was because I knew no one too, they were going to expose me and find me if I dared do that" I said.

" You have my permission to do that"

" Can you go with me? I do not want to go with any of the maids" I said.

He frowned.

" Why not? You have to have your personal maid that can attend to what you need" he said.

I nodded my head. It was going to be hard for me to get a maid that would be loyal to me and not betray me like the last one did.

" Okay, I'll get one to go with me" I gave in.

He stood up and went to his cupboard. I did not want to see the content of the cupboard,so I looked away from him.

" You can have this" he dropped a bundle of money on the bed,close to me.

My eyes were wide open and my mouth was not left out.

My jaws dropped,a mixture of shock and excitement.

" You gave this to me? All of it?" I asked.

I have never gotten such an amount before.

" Of course,I doubt it would be enough for what you want, you can always come to me for more," he said.

I was never going to come back for me, this was more than enough for me. Why does he think that I should come back for me?

" This is too much, I'll be able to get anything I want" I said.

He laughed.

" Well, you have a little prize to pay for this," he said.

His eyes piercing through mine, I was a bit uncomfortable.

" What is it?" I was anxious.

" I need you close to me at all times. I want you in this room with me, do not leave my side, I want you to always be here" he said, his voice sounded so serious.

I blinked, trying to accept what he had just said.
