"Wake up, Pandora."

A faint voice and light caresses alternately greeted Pandora's face. She blinked slowly. Someone had deliberately coaxed her moss-green eyes to shine beautifully in the morning light.

A slight splash startled Pandora. She held her breath when she found Kingston standing very close in front of her. The man looked fresh and different—not like the first time he reacted to the injured jaguar. Pandora hadn't heard anything about Kingston's pet. But she remembered Aceli first.
