Chapter 53
NEPTOS Rein had them live in Daki's disguised souvenir shop. His house behind the souvenir shop was invisible to the unwanted guests. As soon as the trio reached the store, a cloak of invisibility seemed to lift up and revealed a two-storey house.
"Wow," Chloe said in utter amazement. "Lord Daki's good at hiding." Jucel nodded in agreement.
Neptos smiled at her compliment. "He is the best at camouflage. Even the Knights couldn't find him once he's gone."
They went inside the souvenir store where Daki was already at the counter, waiting for them.
"Are you sure you're doing this?" Daki asked as he led them through the back door.
Chloe knew she was the one he was talking to but she didn't bother to answer him. I'm not sure, she wanted to say. I didn't agree to this.
Jucel and Chloe shared one room upstairs while Neptos had his own downstairs. As soon as they closed the door behind them, Jucel spoke up.
