Rhiannon’s point of view

Sitting so close to him, I felt my heart race as he gently stroked my knee, helping me keep calm.

I didn’t realize how many people hate my father. I knew he probably had enemies, but I didn’t realize that just a few miles away from home, people despised him so much.

“Are you okay>?” He asked me as I inhaled sharply, pursing my lips together, taking my glass of whiskey, and drinking from it.
