Summer's POV
Summer positioned herself beside Michael at the top of the grand staircase of Bon Temps watching as the room below grew dark.
She ran a hand down the sides of her silver sequined gown making sure it wasn't out of place in any way. After all she had to look picture perfect.
For hours prior Summer had been the victim of an onslaught of stylists and makeup artists that had been hired to make her look like a rising star for the evenings main event. If she so much as ruined a strand of her hair there would be hell to pay.
After dealing with them for so long her nerves were already fried and now having to walk down a staircase with a bunch of people watching was the last thing she wanted to do.
Putting a hand to her chest Summer attempted to calm her heart, willing it to slow its erratic pace.

Summer's POV Summer's father watched her impassively as she worked to catch her breath. Her head was spinning and she felt like she was going to hurl, but she kept her face calm as she did her best to not show any weakness. "Now." Jackson said narrowing his gaze on her.
