I blinked rapidly and shook off the thought in my head. One way or another, he had to know who I was, but maybe before we get married. God, even the thought of marrying a stranger formed a knot in my stomach.

I ran away from the same mess, and here I was about to be tangled with the same thing I’d been avoiding for three freaking years. It felt like I was cursed by the cosmos while making fun of my miserable life.
