"Keep an eye on her," the Royal Physician told Lydia. "I shall come back tomorrow."

"Alright," she bowed. "Thank you."

"Rest well, your Highness," the Physician bowed to Isabelle and left.

Isabelle was not asleep but she kept her eyes closed. She held the letter that was sent to her in her palms and squeezed it to the extent that the brown paper was tearing apart.
