Liliana

I've never been as nervous as I am right now. I'm standing beside Jarek, his hand resting on the small of my back as if we're a loving couple. His thumb rubs back and forth across the bare skin not covered by the dress. A dress that he picked out for me to wear.

It's a lovely black evening dress... if you're part of the rich and famous. I have no business wearing something of this caliber, but Jarek said that as long as I'm living under his roof and he's sticking his cock in me, I will dress appropriately. To me, that would mean I should dress more provocatively, don't you think?

That's not the case. My closet is now full of proper clothing fit for a woman with money and power. There are a few comfy clothes thrown in there as well, but not many. Most of the outfits consist of dresses or skirts, and that's only because he wants to have full access to me as often as possible. It's the typical Jarek response.

"So, pray tell, who is this lovely creature you have your paws all over

Jarek"I want her gone."Those are the first words from my pauper's mouth when I come to her room after all my guests leave. I thought surely she'd be sleeping by now, and I'd have to wake her up, but I was wrong."You will have to be more specific, pauper," I tell her as I take off my dinner jacket and unbutton the cuffs on my shirt."Sasha. Who else would I be talking about?" Lily sits up in the oversized bed making her look so tiny amongst the quilted topper."Well, there is Carmen," I muse, removing my shirt and reaching for my belt."Did you fuck her, too, tonight? Sasha, I mean…"I pause momentarily to look at the woman. The small lamp on her nightstand is still on, making it easy to see the jealousy burning inside the depths of her fiery, doe-like eyes. She saw.The realization that she witnessed what took place after I sent her away bothers me—for several reasons. One, she disobeyed my orders to send her to her room. I did it precisely so she wouldn't have to witness the rest

LilianaIt's been peaceful the last few weeks. A harmonious atmosphere has replaced an unsettling one, and my relationship with Jarek has been amicable. I'm laughing again, something I haven't done since my time with Hiedi and Fran. Jarek isn't so bad to be around when he isn't trying to be so domineering. However, there are times when I find myself enjoying the Falcon Heir's dominant traits, like in the bedroom when he has me restrained and coming multiple times before he finishes himself. Jarek is a very experienced lover. I'd like to be able to let my guard completely down, but if being around men has taught me anything, it's that they're unpredictable. One day they can be sweet as pie, and then the next, they plan on selling me or pimping me out. Granted, Jarek has never done that, but I'm sure he'll still show off in front of his cronies and treat me less than an equal if the need arises. So, no, I don't think I can let my guard down, but I will learn to try and enjoy my time her

JarekIt was pure torture waiting for Liliana to finish her meal. It didn't help that she also ordered dessert and did so with a wicked gleam in her eye. Her moans and how she licked her fork after each bite of the chocolate dessert were a bit much, but I allowed her to have her fun. However, she will be in so much trouble the second I get her alone."Aren't you going to have anything?" she asks as she looks me over.I'm sitting back in my chair, enjoying watching her eat hers. I smirk, and reply, "I don't think you want anyone here watching when I eat mine.""Why? Is it a messy dessert?"Grinning, I shake my head. "Although your pussy does get messy, that's not why I won't eat it in front of these people.""Ohh…" Lily finally catches on to what I was referring to and her face colors.I smirk and lean in, reaching across the table to wipe the little bit of chocolate she's got on the corner of her mouth. I take my time running my thumb over it and then bring it to my mouth."Mm, that's

LilianaIt's almost three in the morning when I hear my bedroom door creak open. I could remain still and pretend I'm asleep, but my nerves are frayed as they are; I need to know what Jarek has found out.I sit up in my bed, and even though it's pitch black once he closes the door, I can still see his shadow move towards me."Liliana..." My name rolls off his lips in the dark, making me shiver, but not in a bad way. "You should be fast asleep.""I couldn't sleep, not without knowing whether you found anything out," I breathed softly. The bed dips with his weight as he sits on the edge. He reaches over and turns the small lamp on. Blinking back the little light that floods the room, I wait for my eyes to adjust, and when they do, I find Jarek gazing at my bare collarbone. The strap to my negligee has fallen. I should straighten it, but I like how Jarek stares at me. A stirring occurs in the deepest depths of my core, and I find myself having trouble breathing."It's much better with th

Jarek"I said I won't do the deal, and I don't like repeating myself. Find another sap to make the deal. To be honest, your offer is quite offensive and insulting, Mr. Wallace." I pull out the Cuban Cohiba cigar from my inside pocket and light it while I wait for this asshole's rebuttal.I don't smoke often, but I do have the occasional cigar when I'm dealing with businessmen who have no business doing what they're doing. I'd put a bullet in his head, and every other asshole just like him if I could, but then there would be way too many dead bodies to hide. So, killing my lungs is the next best thing, I guess.I take a few puffs of my cigar, blowing it out in Wallace's face. I've already insulted him by not offering the man one, but I don't give a shit. He coughs and sputters, waving his hand in front of his face to clear the smoke."Mr. Falcon—if you could at least look at the product, I'm sure you will see that it's worth every penny." Wallace pulls out a handkerchief and wipes the s

LilianaDr. Owens isn't anything like I expected. He's older, yes, but I pictured him as a crabby, gray-haired, balding doctor with a protruding belly. The man examining me is nothing like that. He's got to be in his mid to late forties with just a few gray hairs. He's got warm eyes and a kind smile. I wonder how he came about working for someone in Jarek's position.Jarek stands beside the exam table, not looking so happy. He keeps glaring at the doctor as he checks me vaginally. I notice the smirk on Dr. Owens's face when he catches one of Jarek's looks, and I can't help but grin.I grab Jarek's hand, making him look down at me. Smiling at him, I hope to reassure him that everything is okay; the good doctor isn't going to sweep me off my feet. By the gold band on his finger, I'm sure his wife would have something to say about it."Well, Lily, everything seems to look normal. You can go ahead and get dressed while I go check on those test results." Dr. Owens tosses his gloves in the

Jarek"She's so fucking frustrating! What more does she want from me? I've given Lily more than I've ever given any woman, and still, she fights me!"I'm sitting in a private booth at the Reformatory with Joey. I came here as soon as Lily stormed out of my office, which, looking at my watch, had been three hours ago. I don't typically drink more than a couple; I don't like being inebriated, but then I've never been in this position before. My best friend finds it amusing, which only pisses me off more. When a cute brunette comes bouncing up to me and offers me a lap dance, I don't think twice before waving her away. No matter how pissed off I am at her, my pauper is always at the forefront of my mind. Nobody holds a candle to her."What exactly did you tell her?" Joey asks. "I thought you two were getting along great lately."I hadn't wanted to go into detail with him when I first arrived, but now, I'm a blabbering fool. I've got liquid courage or some shit like that because I don't g

LilianaI haven't had a dream like that in a long while. Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones, or perhaps it's because of the fight with Jarek, but the nightmare came back. It's the one I always had of him chasing me from the school and right into traffic. I thought I was over it… I guess not. After our argument the day before, I came to my room, and as much as I tried not to—I cried. I'm not sure what to do anymore. Do I really want the contract that I'm forced to submit until the time I can leave, or do I tear it up and hope to live somewhat of a normal life here with Jarek. Can I be happy with him? He's here now, holding me and comforting me from my dream—well, he was until my words shattered the moment. Jarek hovers over me, his dark eyes boring into mine as he takes steadying breaths while gazing down.My pulse kicks up a notch, my own breathing turning shallow as I feel the heat of his stare burning into mine. It's hard to form a response with the way he's looking at me, but I push

LilianaAfter waking up from the coma and learning about the events that took place, I vowed to do everything I could to get better as soon as possible. I needed to find out what happened to Jarek. Deep down, I could still feel him—he was still alive—and I'm going to find him. Jarek may be the devil, but he's my devil, and I'll be damned if anyone steals my son's father from him. It's been a little over a month since I woke up, and Dr. Owens has finally taken me off bed rest. My child is strong and a fighter, so I will do whatever is needed to be just as strong.Leaving my room for the first time, I close the door softly behind me and take in the hardwood floors and walls. Joey told me they have me hidden in the mountains, about four hours away from Rushwood. Being so far from home, I'm feeling unsettled, especially when Jarek isn't here.I'm not sure when I became so dependent on being near the devil, but he's all I've had for so long that nothing feels right without him near. The ca

  • The Devil's Heir   Chapter 62

LilianaThere are voices in my head. They're saying my name, but then everything goes quiet. Fluttering in my stomach wakes me a few times but then settles, and I find sleep again. Each time I become conscious, it's fleeting, and then I'm dragged back down into the darkness, and I sleep some more. There are no dreams or memories, only utter darkness—and silence. I'm not sure what's put me in this state. Am I sleeping? Have I been drugged and taken yet again? It's too exhausting to think about, so I sleep some more.Beeping close by stirs me and I'm startled when my eyes actually open. There's no more darkness or silence, but it's not all that bright either. My lids flutter as my eyes try to focus on what's in front of me.I'm lying on my back, so the first thing that comes into view is an unfamiliar ceiling. I'm toasty warm—a little too warm—unlike the last time I was taken. When I try to move my hand, I'm surprised to find that it's not restrained.A sigh of relief escapes my lips, a

Liliana"Oh, Jarek…yes! Right there—God, that feels so good," I moan into my hand."Jesus, Lily, you're going to have me coming in my pants if you don't stop making those noises." Jarek pauses massaging my foot to chastise me."I can't help it; those hands of yours are amazing…"I've been on my feet all day, helping Fran and Heidi get things ready for the small baby shower they're throwing for me. They kept trying to shove me out of the kitchen, but I wasn't having it. I needed something to do, or I was going to go crazy.Jarek spent the morning and most of the afternoon at the office, and although the baby shower isn't until tomorrow, my friends wanted to get all the baking done today. I never knew that Fran could bake or decorate, but apparently, she worked in a bakery in her younger days, along with working at the Falcon clubs. We've all settled into a routine over the past few months. However, the fact that this Rossi guy hasn't contacted Jarek about his daughter still looms over

Jarek"Rossi has arrived at his home back in Italy," Lonzo informs me over lunch. My underboss called, asking me to meet him because he had news about our little friend. Joseph Lonzo Sr. may not have had a beef with the Rossi Boss before, but now that he almost took Lonzo's son from him, he wants Rossi to pay dearly."Does he know we have his daughter?" I ask, lifting my glass of whiskey and taking a healthy sip.The restaurant where we meet for these particular meetings is private for the Elite in the city. Anywhere from doctors, lawyers, and corrupt businessmen, dine here when they don't want to be bothered. I have a special table at the back so we can see who enters at all times. There are only a handful of diners here at the moment, so it's pretty quiet. That's how I like it. It makes no difference how corrupt or upstanding the person is; I don't trust anyone. My top-tier men are the only ones I trust with my life. The smile on my underboss's face is all I need to know that he's u

LilianaWhen Jarek left, I was livid. Why wouldn't he take me with him? It happened to me—I should at least be there when he hands out Heath's punishment.A thought sprung to my mind… Jarek's going to kill Heath!I didn't hesitate. I went to Jarek's side of the bed, where I knew he kept one of his guns, and grabbed it. I hated what I was about to do, but I figured I'd just ask Jackson for forgiveness afterward. Thankfully, Fran and Heidi were nowhere around because although Fran would have cheered me on, she would have been pissed that I held Jackson at gunpoint. We all love Jackson; of course, I could never hurt him. I had removed the bullets, making sure the chamber was clear as well before I pointed it at him. I have a lot of makeup to do because I don't blame Jackson one bit for the silent treatment I've received since we left.No matter what Heath had done, I just didn't know if I could allow Jarek to kill him. He was my best friend at one time, and he had gone through some shit.

JarekI had said it. I told Liliana that I loved her. I hadn't expected her to say it back, but it doesn't mean I didn't feel disappointed when she didn't. I did a despicable thing to her, and she's slowly forgiving me. I can't expect her to fall in love with me just because the sex is great. She will in time, as long as she stays and gives me the chance.I've spent the last few days with Lily, giving her my every moment, but I couldn't put off the inevitable any longer. As I walk into The Reformatory, the workers nod as I pass them, and I return their greeting with my own nod.I enter the basement, where we keep our cells, and am greeted by Frankie. He immediately unlocks the door to the hall leading to the cells."Have they given you any issue?"Frankie smirks, "Only when Joey comes and visits Zita Rossi."I narrow my eyes and ask, "Why is that?""Have you never heard those two go at it?" Frankie asks astonishingly."Un-fucking-believable! He knows better than to fuck the prisoners.

  • The Devil's Heir   Chapter 57

LilianaMy prayers were answered—Jarek came for me. I lie here in my bed, where Jarek tucked me in after the shower I took once I finished soaking. Almost three days' worth of filth washed away, and now I can get some much-needed rest, or so I thought.I toss and turn, unable to fall asleep even though I'm exhausted. Sleeping on that cold cement floor had me waking up frequently. But that isn't the worst of it. It was the being down there all by myself. I don't want to be alone right now.Throwing the covers off me, I climb from the bed and go to the dresser to grab one of Jarek's t-shirts. I bring the collar to my nose and inhale the masculine scent that is all Jarek. It smells of sweet tobacco and leather, and it's becoming my favorite scent. Not caring about putting panties on, I pad over to the door and open it. The hallway is quiet, and the sconces on the walls are turned down to dim lighting. Taking the stairs down to the first floor, I turn to go to Jarek's office first; it's w

  • The Devil's Heir   Chapter 56

JarekIt's dark by the time we get to the cabin. There are a few guards, because clearly, Carmen didn't think she would need more. The bitch probably thought she was in the clear. I ensured only my trusted men knew of my plan and who was involved. It's been a long time since I've been part of a raid like this; my men usually take care of the grunt work. However, this involves Liliana, and I will not leave it to anyone else to save her. I need to personally see that she is alive and uninjured."Koval, you take your men and disarm all the guards. Do whatever it takes to keep them from alerting our presence," I order through the earpiece. My men are positioned around the cabin, hidden within the thick forest. The trees are so dense, so unforgiving, that no one can see us—not even her. That's Carmen's second mistake—dragging Lily into the woods, believing she could keep my pauper hidden. She never considered the very shadows she trusted would betray her. She can't see us coming, and that

  • The Devil's Heir   Chapter 55

LilianaI don't know exactly how long I've been here. I think it's been two, maybe three days at most. There are no windows down here, and I'm always in the dark. The only light I ever see is when Heath brings me my two meals.I sit in the dark, I eat in the dark, and I use the bathroom in the dark, which consists of a five-gallon bucket. I'm left alone, and that's okay because my situation could be worse. There are many things Heath could be doing to me, but he isn't, and for that, I am thankful.I'm just finishing my lunch when I jump at the sound of the door opening. Typically, Heath doesn't come back until supper time. He leaves me my food and takes my lunch tray back upstairs, so his presence this soon after he's brought me my food is alarming."You get to stretch your legs, Princess." Heath stalks toward me, causing me to cower.I don't mean to show him this weakness, but I'm tired and sore and in no condition to fight off any unwanted attention. Heath doesn't touch me, though. H
