Fluttering my lashes to adjust to the light rays in the room was quite a huge task because it felt like I would go blind if I tried to open my eyes again.

My eyes felt heavy to open but each time I tried to open them, it almost felt like I wasn't in the world but in another planet where the only thing I was capable of seeing was the stupid white light..

Though the act was painful and kind of annoying because I had to try several times, still tried again and this time everything was a haze until slowly the mist began disappearing a room, a well decorated room at that.

This didn't look in any way like the room I stay in when I'm with uncle Antonio and I was forced for a split moment to believe that perhaps I was caught in a nightmare all these while and had finally awoken back in my bed, in my home and pack,Alpha Xander's pack.

But then it hit me that my room in Alpha Xander's pack wasn't decorated with flowers and the walls weren't painted with baby pink and turquoise.
