Polly was awakened by the rumbling in his stomach, a feeling he had not felt in all the time he had at the rescue center. Although, it was not really heaven at PPRC, at least he did not need to worry about his meal or where to sleep. He wondered whether the only person that seemed to care, Luis, was looking for him.

Polly did not know what to make of Luis. He thought that if he truly cared for him, he would’ve brought him home or he would’ve made sure Jake did not get the chance to throw him out like that.
