DOMINIC'S PRESENCE

SIENNA'S POV

“You!..“ I bit my lips in frustration as I cursed at him, clenching my fist tight but Julian, he walked out, not looking back and as if laying instructions, he muttered.

“You're not leaving this house. You could dare.“

And as he stepped out, my fingers still curled up in a fist unclenched as I let out a shaky breath before muttering..

“It isn't my freedom for you to decide on.“

Since that night, all that conspired ended there. I had to start reworking the papers and wait till they passed approval. I sighed, cursing Julian as I remembered him tearing the paper last night.

And for us? The house had been utterly quiet that one would mistake it for a home of the deaf and dumb but this silence was different.

It formed into two.

LOVE IS BONDAGE.SIENNA'S POV. I had thought I had built all the courage and let Julian fear my strengths with all my threat until the unbelievable happened. “No you wouldn't do that. I would not allow it. Over my dead body!“ Julian yelled after barging into the room and slamming the door behind him, leaving me to stare at him confused. I needed to understand what was going on but maybe I wasn't cut out for it? I tried to ignore his rage but my curiosity piqued..“What do you mean, Julian?“ I finally found the voice to act just that it came out low and barely above a whisper. “I'm not signing this. You would stay here cos I want that!“ He spat out coldly like a declaration and that was when everything started to make sense. My eyes widened in shock as I couldn't contain my disbelief and confusion and yet I could feel my strength already fail behind the 'strong self' I had built earlier. It felt like a joke, only that it wasn't funny. I smirked, he was just being a noisy barrel an

THE MOMENT HE LOST HER.JULIAN'S POV. I sat in my study, a drink in my grip as I loosened my tie with the other hand. It was another exhausting day like others but this was more, it was an evening where I longed for Sienna's warmth and old self but it all felt different. The silence was not embracing as usual, instead it felt too quiet and colder. I leaned my back against the chair just to my comfort but my body felt numb, my mind was clouded and all that sent through was Sienna's presence at the office today. “Divorce me.“ she said smoothly and coldly. I was utterly confused that I only raised an eyebrow but Sienna wouldn't come to work if there was no pressing situation. The air became heavier as time passed but the images from the office today flashed into my head. “You're being dramatic.“ I had told her once she threw the envelope towards me — on the desk as I tried to maintain the rigidness in my voice but I saw no flicker in her eyes. I stared, not reading for it at first

THE BROTHER’S GAMEDOMINIC'S POVShe walked out..my heart skipped a beat. How did I let someone who I held high up to leverage slip out of my palms? Just how did I get carried away that she dug out on me? I stared at her as her presence faded once she turned her back as she left the office leaving me to Julian. The atmosphere never softened, it hung in silence leaving much suspense despite its thickness. And this silence was haunting. Ah fvck shit! I hadn't planned this well. There was no way I would let her have known about Elliot. I paused. Yes, she could not have known unless… unless someone talked. My eyes darted to the office as I tried to figure out who but there was Julian. He sat his back resting against the chair as his fingers tapped the desk, his eyes lightened up up to mine, blank expressions yet I shuddered as it flamed for fire. His hands curled around the file, eyes fixated on me. I was forced to stay calm and Just then, his voice came in, sharp and cold. “What th

THE QUEEN MOVES. SIENNA'S POV FLASHBACK. I had been so restless and unable to sleep as I threw up almost every ten seconds and so I decided to take a walk down the corridor. I felt the cold as I had been with no slippers and barefoot while wearing an armless, hence, causing me to wrap my hands around my chest. Cold. I jumped, startled as I took a few steps backwards and then I heard the voice. I sighed — relieved but Dominic and who? The door was slightly opened, enough for me to see through — their shadows were the only thing that lightened against the marble floor, their voices were low yet heated and so I leaned in. “You have always made time out for us.“ Elliot complained, his voice soft and gentle that one could mistake it for a female's. The way Elliot's hands ran through Dominic's neck and up, my tummy troubled causing me to almost spit but I held the disgust in. “What makes you think so?“ Dominic's masculine voice cuts me off. “You're so occupied with your brother's

THE GAME OF SILENCE. SIENNA'S POV“Just any rough act and Julian would get the answers he needed. Funny that night still remains fresh in my head.“ His voice was dangerous but I remained seated as if he had not been referring to me. “The hips, just the way they swayed and perfect!“ He taunted as he clicked his tongue against his lips. “Fresh, fresh.“ He squealed like a child but my tummy churned, he disgusted me. He was involved with Elliot and slept with me. Did gays do two?.He circles around me, his gaze almost dominating as he lets his hands circle a dusty book on the shelf before blowing them towards me and then he moves just up close as he lifts my chin with his hands. But I didn't flinch. Not anymore. Instead, my eyes darkened as I had all the truths just in my palm. And this was just enough to make him feel the control he always faked. “You really seem to be playing games with me?“ I stayed silent but the truth was, I was caught off guard. Of all to say, after circling

STRINGS AND SHADOWSSIENNA'S POVI groaned as I lazily got off from the bed, this preggies hormones have been making me sleepy too often instead of the initial plan — digging dirts. I raised my hands up in the air the umpteenth time but it did nothing, my knees still buckled and my body felt lifeless not until a notification popped to my phone letting me jump up. It was as if my life charged up in an instant. “To the office.“ Sharp, and commanding. I scoffed, it was Dominic, he literally wanted to try out some new trick on me but which was going to work? And so I stood up, had my bath and clutched my handbags in hand like it was some sole secret, oh well, where I headed was more to it. I walked in almost majestically as I distracted myself from the joy of manipulating Dominic so fast. “Easy..“ I muttered to myself as I got to the floor that led to his office hoping I didn't collide with Julian in any part of the office. I walked in, slowly, steps calculated — at this point, I

A TIGHT LEASH. SIENNA'S POV I woke up not to anything but the quietness and stillness in the house, I looked over to the other side of the bed rough, Julian had gone to work and I was just stirring up awake. I turned over to the other side, I still wanted to sleep but I yawned. My tummy rumbled as if on a cue — I was hungry. I chuckled. There was no need to but I felt like it. I wasn't a person who valued breakfast and here I was, my baby was making me have them. “Cute.“ I muttered as I got down from the bed, raising my hands up in the air and stretching my body. Although I tried to wave it, it was all weird. The atmosphere the air breathed too tense as if holding up a secret but there was not much to figure out. I dragged the chair by the mirror towards me before I sat In front of it, taking a wipe to cleanse my face while I swayed to the rhythm of jazz music. I was not going to let any bad energy in on me and definitely not on my child. I sprayed a perfume to my earlobe when

His True Motives. Dominic’s POV. The raging sunlight creeped in from my window. Forced to move to the other side of the bed, my skin brushed another, my reflex kicking in with my eyes leading to inform my brain the scenario that presented itself. “Didn't mean to wake you, love.” With my eyes closed, my hands dugged in massaging the fatigue out of it. “Good morning darling.” I greeted. “It was quite a night yesterday.”“Yeah. The whole acting got me tired.”With the stance of a predator, he grovelled and moved slowly to me. “How about I charge you up this morning?” Flashes of pleasure invaded my mind. Temptation was about to give in until a spark of responsibility scarred my brain. “As tempting as that offer is, we need to keep things down. The last thing I would want my brother to think of is that is that I'm having sex with his brother-in-law.”He cupped my face and locked his lips with my upper lips. “He met me yesterday. I'm sure he'll let it all slide.” Before I could give
