My whole body froze when my eyes met his cold gaze. I wonder how much Stefano had seen. As he took powerful strides towards us, my heart pounded loudly in my ears.

Suddenly, his firm grip pulled me in his direction. We stood opposite Robin who had an awkward smile plastered on his face.

"Glad to see you, I guess." Robin chuckled, stretching his hands towards Stefano as though they were old friends.

"You might not be glad to see me next time." Stefano's firm tone matched the cold gaze his eyes held.

Robin chuckled, unfazed by his words. I didn't understand what exactly was going on, but I could tell that there was a quiet battle between them.

I was torn between screaming and keeping mute. Before I could make any decision, Stefano's hard grip tightened around my wrist and pulled towards the direction of his car.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I yelled, pain shooting through my hand.

"Protecting you! You can't afford to spend one more minute with him." Stefano spat, still not freei

The next morning when I woke up, I acted like nothing had happened. And like I hadn't already looked for a way to escape this hell hole of a place. I did my normal activities as usual and rested on my bed while I was done. Since I didn't have a phone here, I just looked up at the wooden bunk as I tried to observe all its intricate carvings. It was fascinating and most importantly, well done. It occurred to me that I missed my phone. I had been talking about how much I had missed my family but now I missed my phone. I thought about Tomasso and how he was doing. I wondered if he had finally regain his memory. Maybe my absence would make him remember my presence in his life.“...you.” Lisa drew my attention from my thoughts as she laid on my bed.“How are you doing?” I asked, straightening my posture and laying my back on the phone.“Well what can I say?” She asked a rhetorical question. “Must be really tough huh?” I chuckled. “Being the only that takes orders from madam livia everytime

Bella hasn't been home in months. Her absence is loud so as the ache in my chest. I really wished I could have prevented her from not leaving the other night and as I continued to think of it, there wasn't much I could have done. Stefano is stubborn and she was the type to put her mind on something and have it done immediately and no matter how how I could have tried to stop her. I missed her so bad that it hurt me. This was the longest she had been far from me eversince we had gotten married. She was my other half, the bed felt too empty without her presnce, too wide and annoyingly big. I didn't need this much space to lie down. I couldn't even sleep. Each night I would imagine she was on the other side of the mind before I could sleep. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it felt like I was making a fool of myself. No imagination could fill the gap. It's either I had her or I didn't have her with me. Everything that we have done to search for her have proven to be futile. I was almost

For some reasons, I trusted him and believed that he was Saying the truth when he talked about saving me. My eyes lit up with joy but I tried not to act on it too much. “Thank you, I really appreciate.” I said to him and he nodded.“Yes we are doing this together and I would help you.” He assured me not my only concern was I didn't know if je should be the one assisting me with all of this seeing that he had romantic intentions towards me. I didn't want to make it look like I would hurt his feelings. Because once he helped me get out the door he would want to purse whatever romantic interest he had towards me and if he found out tha I had a husband he might be mad at me so I had tell him now… once and for all if he was going to do this for me, he should do it without expecting anything from me. That was that about that and that was it.“You seem like you have something to say to me.” He asked snd I shook my head.“Umm.” I stuttered. I shook my head. I couldn't blow up my chance of ge

After I has begged madam livia not to take me to the room to meet the strange man, apparently my pleadings fell on deaf ears. I wasn't even supprissd. I shouldn't have begged her but I just couldn't stop myself. It hurt me so much that she acted like I was thin air while I spoke to her but a part of me felt a sense of relief at the fact that I wasn't going to be with someone else. Just him and he was going to be Caring as always. This time around he wasn't going to be talking to me first at the club, he was already waiting for me in the room. As I knocked the room, madam livia watched Mr with stern eyes “Who's there?” He asked.“I came with your order.” Madam livia replied and my stomach twisted with irritation. I was being described as an order. There was harfly nothing that I haven't been described with and it annoyed me to be honest that I was now reduced to something someone would call an order.“Will be at the door soon.” His voice called out and soon he was at the door. The fro

I didn't really have much time to process anything that happened before I knew it again, it was evening and I had to work. Work as a fucking prostitute. I hated the whole process of this work. First the food, the clothes selection and then partitioning us into different unit. I wanted to serve so I purposely wore a gown that was unappealing. Something that would annoy madam livia and made her automatically put me in the serving unit or something else that doesn't require me to do anything that has to do with sleeping with those stupid mem that deserved to rot in hell. Oh well except the strange man. He treated me with kindness to some extent and he was nice to me… considerate. All the colourful adjectives in the world would not describe how well untile he made that statement that made my heart ache. Could I just stop thinking about him? I didn't know what exactly was about him that I couldn't stop yearning for his presence.Damn, I had a husband at home that was in search of him and

I stared at the both of them as they stood in front of me. They were weirdos, the two of them. I just didn't want to cause a big fight, I would have pushed them off the way. After her a while her friend went to sit down while Amelia rushed over to her, as if to pacify her immediately, it was fun to watch. This dynamics that I was yet to unravel. My eyes quickly darted to Lisa, she looked at them with an emotion similar to Jealousy in her eyes. There was just something between them that neither of them would like to admit. It was obvious and theur expressions spoke volumes.“Trying to unravel their relationship?” Cassandra said as she sat down on my bed.My gaze flickered to her direction. “How did you know that's what I was thinking?” I asked her and she smiled.“Your expression gave it away.” She simply replied. I didn't want to start sharing my thoughts with her just yet. Although I liked her but I wasn't sure if she could be trusted. Me liking her wasn't enough reason for her to st
