I don’t think anyone had any idea about her mother and her family. Of course, I knew about the clan in Australia. Dad makes both Drake and I learn about every clan in existence, not to mention the histories of other clans. The clan in Australia is the only clan of all gemstone dragons in the world. It is no surprise that the black market would target that clan.
