The Dreaded Proposal

Every corner of this floor is feared by him. He is a devil himself or you can say I believe for me he is a monster, yes but a handsome monster. I hate him definitely but his charming smile controls me to strangle him to death. Pin drop silence is here because he will make a decision now about me. Can I still have any chances to work as an assistant in this company?

What I did that my job is at risk? Before answering this question, I want to enlighten: Who am I and who is my handsome yet eisberg aka jerk CEO? Here it starts ……….

Grace Lorenzo, a name in a business magazine who poses for business, said that he is handsome and has a brain that is faster than light. He is also so productive that can make money in a second. Hey, I am not blabbering, ok! He thinks himself this much high but I have to give marks on his face, money and cleverness. He is a fox, no a deceiver, no may be a cunt. Yes, I loathe him and I am attracted to him at the same time. Enough of his praising , I huffed in my mind .

I want to share with you my first day in this office, can I? Well, I am going to share if you deny I don’t care ;)

I was dressed in a red jumper and I am a pale girl with my dark blonde bob hair though my hair is cut in bangs on my forehead and I always tie them in a front hair band. I am a neat freak and always wore a hand mask. I use thick rim spectacles, yes, I was a nerd. I came here at 8’0 clock but this ass like the office starts at 9’0 clock. Then they gave me a pile of work, I did but that jerk CEO got a mistake in every file. Because of his mistake I re-checked every file and made a file as per his requirement. After my long day he made me wait one extra hour because tomorrow there was a meeting and we needed to arrange a slide. Who did this much work on her first day? 

Every day other staff are doing seven-hour work and me is doing eight hours, why? They need to pay extra money for those extra hours, and, and those shouting of that stupid CEO aka my boss. 

This is not the end of my story, rather a starting, just like I said my first day was horrible but the first week at work was quite good but the actual surprise was waiting for me in the second week at work. I really want to share that stories with you, I am starting ok :> 

 That week I was typing on my laptop and someone entered my cabin (who entered in someone’s cabin without knocking/manners) I tilted my head. Who was that rude person, oh! My boss. He comforted himself on my opposite chair and kept his hand on my table to only remain his head on it. “Victoria, we are having a party tomorrow. I want to give you the responsibility to arrange that party in “LA STARRY NIGHT”. Next week a Chinese company will be here for a contract. I want to take their responsibility also. They are not regular in the USA; they will need your assistance. Do not make me regret my decision, do it perfectly” he ordered. I replied, “yes, sir” but regretted it in my mind and cursed him (who told you to give me that much responsibility, ass boss. Ah! How similar are both doubles pun intends) He left my cabin but left me a stressed Victoria.

Party Night at LA STARRY NIGHT

“All the arrangements are ready”, one of the staffs told me. Party will start here in a few minutes. At 7’o clock our party started and guests atr start to arrive. Every man and woman in their fancy dress, they look elegant. Our gorgeous Melinda mam is here in a blue velvet strapless dress with hair in a French bun.

Our CEO is also in a blue velvet suit, definitely both couples are matching. People are talking, cheering their glasses of beverage. Suddenly music turned on and couples settled them on the floor for dancing. CEO and his date Melinda also start to dance, they swiss again with another couple. My phone rang, I received it and went to a silent corner to talk. After finishing my phone call, I was about to come out from that corner but I heard a hushed voice. I followed those voices and saw two people sucking each other's faces but I knew them maybe. Oh! Melinda mam with a black hunk but why on the earth she kissed him? This is cheating, I should record. I started to video them. I was only thinking of catching her cheating but I also recorded the story behind this secret meeting and that shocked me. They left that place and joined the main floor of this party. I saved that video in the drive folder, and I also joined the main party.

All the evening was going well but I felt all this time someone was following me. I was pulled by my left hand to a hard chest. I meet those eyes who haunt in my dreams because I can't solve the secrecy of those cold eyes.

“You are looking sexy, baby. What should we do now?” in a husky voice he told me. “Just leave me alone. You have to stop this inappropriate behavior with me”, I warned him. He left my hand but kissed on my forehead with this he was gone, gone for his own good.

This party took a long time, so why not it ends already. Thai people are full of show off; they don't know how to enjoy their life by keeping it private. Boom, what sound is it? There, one of the waiters accidentally bumped into one guest, now, they are making a fuss about it (people make mistakes, rich people don’t want to understand it) “Victoria, Victoria, what is this? What kind of people you hired for this party, who don't know how to behave in a party!!?Your good for nothing waiter is bumping here with my guest” Lorenzo screamed at me. I heard his accusation by keeping my eyes on the floor because if my eyes meet him, they will see how much fury is in it. People make mistakes, why so inconsiderate and that was not my mistake. I calmed myself and looked at that waiter, “Sorry dearie. I am sorry they don’t know how to behave who helped them, you should leave (I can't be rude with my boss but I will always stand on my joint, always).

Then I also spoke to that guest, “We are really sad about our inconvenience, can you please forgive this kind of behavior?”  

“It’s ok sweetheart. I am all okay and Lorenzo calmed down” wow that guest is a kind person he replied in a kind way.

I thought my party night was over and it dragged me to hell the next morning as well.
