Damien tried to keep his cool as he looked at the woman before him, dressed in a skintight red dress, blood-red lipstick matching the rage in her eyes.

“Who sent you? Was it Calla? Or was this part of what she wanted Killian Black to do?” Damien asked, his voice trembling, trying to sound brave.

Neva smiled slowly, almost sympathetically, as she leaned against his desk. “So many questions, Damien. But none of them matter. What matters… is this.” She said pointing at the divorce papers.

Damien tried to buy time. Maybe if he moved just right, he could press the red button near his elbow, alert the guards, and end this madness.

But before his hand got anywhere close, WHACK!

“AH!” Damien groaned as Neva’s fist smashed into his nose.

“Goddamnit!” he cursed. “What the fuck is wrong with you?!”
