Chapter 42
Waking up next to Wyatt is one of the best feelings. I felt loved and content. I was completely sore between my legs. I don’t think I will be able to walk! He didn’t stop until 4am and that was just because I passed out of exhaustion. I was laying on my side and Wyatt had his arm draped over my waist. I grabbed his hand and pulled it under my face, snuggling against him. My happy, safe place.
“Good morning beautiful!” Wyatt said as he yawned
“Morning to you too”
“Lets go get breakfast. I have some work to do. Kelly wants a girls day or something. Brooke is home now so I think you guys are spending the day keeping her company while Zach and I work.”
“Planning my day for me?” I asked a little annoyed
“Well, eventually, you will have duties here but Brooke just got home and I need Zach’s help in the office and he refuses to leave her alone so basically you are helping me out by agreeing to this. Is that okay?”

I am going to try to give you guys a few extra long chapters this week. I will be taking the weekend off for a family Christmas and will be back Monday. Thank you all for understanding and support!

Justin is going to follow up on a few more leads about who the stupid savior guy is and Maverick and Zach are going to be spending more time with the girls as secret protection. “Good evening! My name is Hannah, I will be your waitress today. What can I get you to start of with?” The waitress said looking between us “Please get us the bottle of Chateau Lafite Rothschild and two waters.” The waitress halted for a second, “Yes, sir” and walked off. I know how expensive that bottle is but I was gifted it years ago and have been saving it for the first date I had with my mate. Nina POV My head was throbbing and my body ached all over. What happened to me? Everything was pitch black and all I could smell was dirt, blood and sweat. I tried moving my arms and legs. I realized they were tied up with something. The clink I heard told me it was a chain. It was wrapped around my neck, down my back, wrapped around my wrist and down to my ankles. The way my breath came back to hit me, made me realize I had a bag of some sort over my head. Trying to clear my head, I pushed my memory. I remember the date. We were driving home and that’s it. ‘We were ambushed. Someone hit our car and we went rolling till we hit a tree that stopped us. You hit your head hard but I am doing my best to heal you!” Raven said. ‘You’re still here?! How could that be with the silver chains around me?’ ‘I don’t know. I think a piece of your jewelry blocks anything from interfering with me. They cannot take me away from you as long as you have that jewelry on.

It was hard to tell if it was days or nights here. All I could gauge was when a new girl would come to bring me food, water and empty my waste bucket. I tried to ask questions but I never got a response. Raven had successfully healed me. I knew I was losing weight as I got the tiniest portions of the same slop I got every day. There is something poking into my back. As I lifted my hand to scratch me back, I suddenly got jerked awake as I about fell out of the tree. Oh yeah, stuck in this damn tree. “Trevor?” I asked quietly completely shocked. What the hell? “You know him?” Clint asked I didn’t even bother answering him as I was still completely shocked. I really wanted to try that force thing. As we walked, I kept thinking about doing it on command. When it happened before, I was angry and didn’t realize what I was doing. I remember I just needed space or wanted Wyatt to get away from me. Visualizing a force being pushed forward did not work. I tried pushing my hands forward which only resulted in the electricity to blast a tree and splinters went flying! I was only able to eat about half of the burger. My stomach was used to eating mush and a greasy burger was not ideal but it was food. I did feel better and the water helped rehydrate me.
