Chapter 52

I was so focused on my mission I didn’t even pay attention to where we were going. I had the images of a hot shower. The water running down my body, the smell of shampoo and conditioner. I wanted to scrub every inch of my body free of the memory of that place.

Reed stopped walking in front of a door. “Here is your room. I will have food brought to you and it will be on your bed when you are done showering. The closet is stalked and should be around the right size for you. Chose whatever you want to wear, they are for guest to use and take as needed. I have also had a female lay out all the items you may need. Again, use whatever you want. There is a phone by the bed. Press 1 and you will get my office, 9 will go to my personal cell. I don’t allow everyone to use that so please refrain from telling people. Only certain phones have that ability anyways. Let me know if you need anything else”

“Thank you” I said. Reed nodded and turned to walk away. “Reed?”
